Central Texas Food System Local Coalition Collaborative

About the Local Coalition Collaborative

A permanent workgroup of the Central Texas Regional Food System Council (CTX RFSC), the purpose of the Local Coalition Collaborative is to:

  • Foster bidirectional communication with the RFSC Steering Committee

  • Elevate local community voice in regional decision-making

  • Disseminate best practices and shared learnings

  • Share information on local assets and challenges

  • Bolster existing coalitions and expand cross-sector involvement

  • Support emerging coalitions in additional counties

  • Focus on action and practical solutions

As the CTX RFSC work gets underway, this group will eventually expand to include representation from all 21 counties in Central Texas.
