About the Local Coalition Collaborative
A permanent workgroup of the Central Texas Regional Food System Council (CTX RFSC), the purpose of the Local Coalition Collaborative is to:
Foster bidirectional communication with the RFSC Steering Committee
Elevate local community voice in regional decision-making
Disseminate best practices and shared learnings
Share information on local assets and challenges
Bolster existing coalitions and expand cross-sector involvement
Support emerging coalitions in additional counties
Focus on action and practical solutions
As the CTX RFSC work gets underway, this group will eventually expand to include representation from all 21 counties in Central Texas.
